Rovers Return - Great British Car Journey Ambergate, DE56 2HE Come and celebrate 120 years of Rover. Set to be a fantastic day of Rovers through the Ages with lots to see and do, plus a further 150 British Classic Cars to look at inside the attraction. Celebrate some of the following anniversaries with us at the event: Rover P4 75th, Rover SD1 40th, Rover 75 25th, Range Rover P38 30th. All Rovers will be parked together. Trophies and Prizes will be awarded and every Rover will receive a commemorative plaque. Prizes will include Wera tools, Autoglym cleaning products and Motul lubricants and additives. The South East Rover Rally (Run by P5 Club & R.S.R) - All Rovers welcome at Filching Manor Motor Museum, Jevington Road, Filching, Polegate BN26 5QA at 10.00am. Filching Manor is part of the Campbell Circuit. The collection contains the very rare 1898 Orient Express (one of only two left working in the world), a 1907 Corbin Racer, several Bugatti cars, a fantastic 1904 chain driven Mercedes racing car and many, many more. The Filching Manor collection is also unique because it one of very few motor museums that has most of its collection in working order. The Foulkes Halbard collection is based around the record breaking Campbell family’s many achievements. As part of the collection we have Sir Malcolm Campbell’s Bluebird K3 world record breaking boat, along with other famous Campbell cars, boats and memorabilia. Also many other rare and wonderful things in the collection. Dogs are welcome in the grounds kept on a lead in all areas. Entry to the Rally is £8.00 per car including all occupants. Entry to the museums, if required, will be by individually purchased tickets at £8.00 per person (under 16 free) to be purchased from Rally control on the day. Norfolk & Norwich ROC 46th ‘All Rover’ Rally at Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens, near Diss, Norfolk. IP22 2AA. All entrance fees payable at the gate on the day. The entrance fee for your discount tickets for Bressingham Museum will be £8.00 per person for adults and children (free for children under 3 years of age). This payment is for the museum and it gives each entrant full access to the gardens and all Museum Buildings, rides on the 3 narrow gauge Steam Railways and 3 rides on the famous Gallopers. The site will be open from 8.30am for exhibitors, gates will open to the public at 10.30am. All cars are required to be in position by 10.30am and vehicles should not be moved or leave the site before 4pm. As always, places are limited to 90 spaces only, so please book early to avoid disappointment. The Bressingham Trustees only allow assistance dogs within their grounds. BBQs and Stoves are NOT permitted. No items may be sold or displayed for sale from exhibits. No show entry cards will be posted this year, but given on your arrival. Entry deadline 28th July 2024.
