1975 Rover P6 3500S Monza Red with Sandalwood boxpleat cloth interior (Buckskin door cards) in very good condition.
Same owner since 1978, bought from a local garage in Melton Mowbray. Stainless steel exhaust, power steering, electric fuel pump, tow bar, glass sunroof. Full folder of receipts and mechanical information etc. Mileage 67,549. It had Ziebart rust treatment protection by first owner after purchase. Fitted an electric fan for touring including caravan holidays etc and used regularly in the 80Õs. When dad bought the car, he also bought a complete set of original factory panels from British Leyland which had been primed and stored for when needed. Over the last 10 years dad had been gradually restoring the car and changed all the panels for the original factory replacements and had sprayed up. All the engine has been stripped down and aluminium engine block cleaned and restored. Gearbox overhauled and all other mechanics and electrics have been restored.
Dad was using it again but sadly died in February at the age of 81. It has lots of really fun memories for our family but we just can’t see ourselves being able to keep it, look after it or do it justice. It is a lovely superb car, runs and sounds a treat and if fabulous condition.
