This motor is in very good condition and was until 18 months ago the owner’s every day car. Thus it has been sensitively upgraded to be easy to use on a daily basis, including electronic ignition, power assist steering, power assist brakes, power assist screen washer, drinks holder, upgraded radio/CD player, 7” screen satnav and satnav mounting plate, electrics isolation switch to limit theft and LED lights all round. Original light fittings, ashtray and two dashboard covers are included in the sale should you wish to return the car to original. Also included in the sale are the original owner’s manual, Rover owner’s manual, Rover repair manual Rover parts catalogue from 1977. Fetching red paint work, factory original black vinyl roof covering and black leather interior. Full stainless steel exhaust. Period back and white licence plates and modern reflective ones too. Auto gearbox. The car has just been professionally recommissioned with a new battery and all fluids checked and topped up and is running and driving as it should. Comes with a breathable fitted car cover to protect paintwork. New tyres fitted about 4,500 miles ago with the spare having never been used. Rover jack and tyre brace with the car. Paint is flaking outer boot sill (no evidence of rust) screen washer bottle is leaking, there is a small windscreen chip which will need epoxy repair and the back licence plate surround badly pitted (useable replacement is included in sale). I have driven the car and it presents well and is, in my view, easy to drive and good to use and to enjoy.
